About the event
This course aims to update the participants' knowledge and skills in the management of perioperative patients in cardio-respiratory arrest.
Topics covered include:
Current ALS guidelines and algorithms
Management of dysrhythmias
The impact of human factors on performance in the management of cardiac arrest.
Non-technical skills for the management of perioperative crises, including
a) Teamwork and communication
b) Situational awareness
c) Use of cognitive aids
