RESOURCES

Replicating real health environments, the Simulation Centre provides a safe and controllable setting for research projects and equipment testing.  We can also provide advice on simulator capacity, ability and measurement tools, as well as providing technical support.

Translational research using in-situ simulation can support systems improvement and identify roadblocks and process issues. Our staff have experience in designing simulations to support this style of research.

New facilities can also benefit from simulated testing before going live, and the Simulation Centre can support these activities.

As part of a commonwealth funding grant the SCSSC developed a number of open source simulation resources. These include scenarios, lesson plans, mobile device push learning (Qstream) and e-learning modules.  If you would like to access these please click on the EdWISE logo.
