Description
This full day course addresses the specific knowledge required for front line clinicians in the acute management of poisoning and envenomation.
Topics covered
The course focuses on teaching the following topics
- Structured approach to poisonin
- Toxic resuscitation
- ECG in overdose
- Uncommon and paediatric poisonings
- Envenomation update
Approach
Participants will work in small groups led by faculty toxicologists, participants will also be involved in the management of simulated toxicological emergencies in an immersive team environment.
